Good Hone Base in Hanoi Old Quarter

We stayed at this hotel during our first two nights in Hanoi. Superb location, and good breakfast buffet. The staff was extremely helpful and even let us store our bags after we had checked out. They also helped us make reservations, called taxis, and provided us with a great home base in Hanoi. Sarah at the front desk also went above and beyond. Our transfer for Ha long bay was late, and she called the driver to make sure everything was okay.

Absolutely wonderful location, right in the middle of the tourist-friendly Old Quarter. The staff, especially Hannah in Customer Success, were SO helpful in setting up safe transfers to and from the airport and to our tours. She also collected information about our itinerary and helped us connect with the drivers when they came for pickup each day. We chose to book a half-day city tour that they connected us with, which was AMAZING. The night market right outside of the hotel is so fun to walk around, but the hotel is completely sound-proof, you’d never know it’s there. The breakfast is very delicious and offers a wide variety. The spa was also wonderful.

We stayed here today at this hotel for only a few hours, but that told me everything. Room was clean and comfortable. But more important was the service at the front desk. They got me and my wife massage appointments at short notice. It was pouring rain and the front desk guys took my suitcases, walked 4 blocks (as the roads were open only to pedestrian traffic only) to my taxi, and we made it on time at the airport. Hats off to you folks!! Keep up the good service!!

Amazing hotel! We originally had a different hotel booked but decided to switch to this one a few weeks ahead of our trip, it was a great decision. The staff in particular made it a very special 4 days stay. Alice and the reception team are simply lovely. They looked after us every day and were so helpful and caring. Hotels back home in the UK could learn a lot from them about customer care and attention. The rooms (we had an adjoining suite of two) were perfect. The TV had HBO movies in English. The breakfast was just right each morning, the restaurant staff at breakfast were also very nice. The hotel location is unbeatable, the lake, beer street and most attractions are a short walk away. Fri/Sat/Sun the road closes for a night market with lots of stall setup right outside the front of the hotel - you couldn’t get more central than this. Very much recommend. Thank you to all the great staff!

Worst hotel ever. We went on our honeymoon trip, the air conditioner didn’t work and they didn’t do anything to fix it. The room was not clean, service was terrible. There was not enough water to flush the toilet, everything terrible. Don’t stay here.
